We are incredibly grateful for Elizabeth Underwood and the support she has provided through teen counseling. Finding the right therapist for a teenager can be challenging, but Elizabeth has been absolutely wonderful. She is compassionate, patient, understanding, and genuinely cares about the young people she works with. She has a wonderful ability to connect with teenagers, make them feel comfortable, and create a safe environment where they can express themselves without feeling judged or pressured. As a parent, I also greatly appreciate Elizabeth’s professionalism, thoughtfulness, and approach to helping teens develop the confidence and tools they need to work through difficult situations and emotions. It means so much to know that your child has someone they trust and feel comfortable talking to. We have seen such a positive difference and are extremely thankful for Elizabeth’s guidance, kindness, and support. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Underwood to any family looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and exceptional therapist for their teenager. I was a little skeptical when I signed up , also it was so hard to chose a therapist but then I came across Dr Mielke-Metzger’s profile I found her expertise could help me in regards to what I was needing, and I Decided it would be her. I had no idea what to expect. But after a couple sessions in I got to know her and really feel comfortable speaking to her. I actually can’t wait for my sessions. She truly listens to the concerns I have and gives her professional advice. I feel that I am doing better because of her.

She has been absolutely amazing helping my daughter work through her emotions, identify triggers and give her real world, applicable coping mechanisms that she can continue to use for the rest of her life. It has been such a blessing to find her. My daughter really looks forward to her sessions. We are beyond blessed our daughter has found someone she can connect with and she will keep seeing her through High School, and hopefully learn to grow and cope in healthy ways. She provides homework that challenges and encourages her, without being too much or overwhelming her. Ashley changed our daughter’s life! She is kind, personable and very experienced. Ashley helped our teen daughter to better understand and manage her anxiety and she is a different girl now. Confident, outgoing, trying new things and managing to cope with hard days in much healthier ways. We are so proud of our girl for the work she has done but our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude goes to Ashley who through building a trusting relationship was able to have those hard conversations in a kind and supportive way. Ashley just knows what to say and more importantly what questions to ask to guide you to the revelations that are essentially going to lead to big breakthroughs. I couldn’t recommend Ashley highly enough!

Cheli has been such a blessing in my life. From the very beginning, she has made me feel safe, heard, supported, and understood in a way I truly needed. She has helped me feel less alone during one of the hardest times of my life, and her compassion, patience, and insight have meant more to me than I can put into words. Her knowledge and insight are truly incredible. She is so patient and creates a safe space where I feel comfortable being honest, even when things feel heavy or overwhelming. She has helped me process difficult emotions, trust myself more, and feel stronger as I work through things. I never feel judged by her - only supported, validated, and encouraged to find clarity within myself. She truly understands and has helped me feel grounded when I’m overwhelmed and has taught me skills to help me stay grounded and present. She validates that my feelings make sense and has helped me slow down, breathe, and trust myself in moments when I have felt unsure or scared. I am beyond grateful for Cheli and the care she puts into her work. She has made a real difference in my life and in my healing journey. I would highly recommend Cheli to anyone searching for a therapist who is kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and truly present.

It’s my first time pursuing therapy and I was at first a little uneasy about the whole process, however Svetlana had made this experience the most easy for me. Therapy sessions with her isn’t just about talking to a stranger, she creates a safe place so that I can express myself without feeling weird or awkward, it actually fells like I’m talking to a friend. Even when it comes to sensitive subjects that can be hard to mention, she always makes sure that I feel comfortable and she really tries to deeply understand my needs as much as she can. She’s really amazing at what she does and it shows that she is passionate, I truly recommend her.
